Hawkesbury newsletter - July 2016
Thank you for your patience!
It's been a long time coming, but we now have enough interest to launch the Hawkesbury Branch of the Amateur Beekeeping Association of NSW!
We will be holding our first ever meeting at 7pm on Friday 5 August at the Hawkesbury Earthcare Centre, Western Sydney University, Richmond.
The intention of this meeting is to gauge the number of potential members, and to nominate a committee to take responsibility for formally establishing the group.
Eric Brocken will make a presentation to explain the background and aims of the Hawkesbury Earthcare Centre, and outline why we think there is great potential for a partnership with local beekeepers.
The purpose of the ABA is to support and educate all NSW beekeepers, so whether you already have bees, would like to start, or just want to know more about bees, please come along!
There is no need to join or register, but if you'd like to let us know you're coming, please click the link below, so we can get enough chairs out :-)
