Cumberland

Cumberland Club

We are a relatively a new Club formed to meet the needs of local area beekeepers.

Our members include beekeepers with over forty years experience together with newer members who are learning to manage their hives.

Our Club members own and operate both European (Italian) honeybee and Australian native (tetragonular carbonaria) bee hives both of which we are happy to support interests evinced by our members.

We have honey-extracting resources (at the moment) available by arrangement with one of our members.

It is the intention of our Club to advance the education of our members in all matters concerning their hive management and responsibilities including traditional and "Flow Hive" technologies and encourage and or involve our local community in all things to do with nature, insects and our beloved bees.
