Macleay Valley
Welcome to Macleay Valley Amateur Beekeepers Association Incorporated.
Our Club is open to anyone to join who is interested in Amateur Beekeeping. The club’s aim is to support new and experienced beekeepers to share their skills and knowledge, irrespective of their level of expertise and type of beekeeping system they manage
ABOUT US
Members gather once a month to learn, swap tips, catchup with friends, meet like-minded beekeepers, and discuss anything and everything to do with bees. At different times of the year, we inspect the MV hives in our shared apiary and demonstrate management tasks and perform pest and disease checks. We begin with a news and Q&A session, and then finish with a BBQ.
Beginners and new members are always very welcome.
MEETINGS
Club meetings are held on the third Sunday of every month at Wigay Aboriginal Cultural Park (the corner of Dangar and Sea Streets) in West Kempsey at 11am.
