Honey Bee Industry Development Officer

The NSW Department of Primary Industries is currently recruiting for the role of Honey Bee Industry Development Officer. This is a full-time position, based at Tocal Agricultural College near Maitland in the Hunter Valley.

Primary purpose of the role

To deliver research, development and education programs and contribute to policy development to improve the productivity, profitability and sustainability of the honey bee industry in NSW. This is achieved through developing and delivering R&D projects; packaging information for use by industry and other stakeholders; brokering relationships between government, industry, service providers, researchers and other stakeholders; and providing analysis and advice to government.
